Getting help
Email spark@playember.gg. A reply usually takes a day or two.
If something is broken, say what you were doing, what happened instead, and roughly when. If it happened in a game, send the link to that game.
Learning the game
How to play covers the rules with a board you can try. The tutorial plays a real game against a bot and stops to explain what happened. The puzzles are short positions that each teach one idea: place your spots and watch the board settle, see your rival’s pick before you place, or control the spots nobody can place on.
Trouble signing in
Signing in is a six digit code sent to your email address.
If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder first. Codes expire after ten minutes, so ask for a new one if it has been sitting a while. If several arrived, use the most recent.
If nothing arrives after a few minutes, write to spark@playember.gg from the address you are trying to use.
When the game misbehaves
A board that has stopped updating is usually a dropped connection, not a lost game. Reload the page and it picks up where the game actually is.
Games have a turn clock. If a seat runs out of time, the game ends against that seat.
If the app asks you to update, this version can no longer talk to the server, and the update is the only fix.
Reporting a name
Open that player's profile and use "Report this name". The rule and what happens next are in the terms.
Deleting your account
The account page has a delete control, and it works signed out, so you can reach it after uninstalling the app.
If you cannot sign in and want the account gone, write to spark@playember.gg from the address on the account.
